Record shop for rare/import cd's

Hi all,

 

My other half has requested what appears to be a rare CD for Christmas.

 

I have had a google, but was wondering if anyone knows of any record shops, either in Sheffield or online, who might stock it, or who might be able to track a copy down?

Don't know about a shop in Sheffield but Townsend Records is a good place to go online for obscure artists.

Thanks for the link, no joy there unfortunately. I think it may have been american improt - a seller on Amazon have it, for £38!! Used!!

Its John Cale - Fragments of a Rainy Season (CD not DVD).

 

I could ebay it, but obviously there's the risk of it not being in good condition (I think it was released in the early 90's).

There is one person selling it on there, but I'm confused as to how it works... They seem to say that Gemm, send my card details to the seller - which I'm not keen on really! (and its almost the price of the CD to get is posted from the states!)
