Not so much annoyance but derision: the one's with the tagline "Because you're worth it", and those with glossy, big hair swinging about in slomo. Ooh! ooh! ooh! ...in particular the Betty Davis Eyes one with the red shoes in the shop window.

I noticed the old 1989 MilkyWay ad is back - only seen it once but wow - brought that back out of the ark haven't they? It has that catchy song about the red car and the blue car -quite like it actually!

 

The red car and blue had a race, the red went an stuffed his face.....

Ah, but have you noticed they've altered the lyrics slightly?

 

it used to say "Because he knows it won't spoil his appetite"

 

now it goes "Because he knows that it tastes just right".

 

I suppose that's to get round the new healthy eating stuff.

What TV adverts annoy you or make you cringe?

I absolutely hate the somerfield adverts. Since when do you get members of staff giving anything more than a grunt, let alone speaking like your best friend?

 

'Special occasion? Yes......he's cooking'
