hi if you look on ebay you will find one of the bonsai sellers is based in rotherham so after you have had a look at what is available, if you contact her (Jude) you could cut out delivery costs by picking up your tree.

I want to get someone a Bonsai tree as a pressie, does anyone know of someone in Sheffield who sells them? I've seen really old threads on here talking about a place at Chapeltown, is it still there? I know they used to sell them at MH but I don't think the stall is there anymore.

One of the old threads has what looks like a Japenese acer bonsai - oh my goodness, how beautiful it is! Knowing me I'll end up with one for myself too!!!

Sunday the 25th at don valley stadium there is a big bonsai trading event 10 till 3 there will be lots to buy but can be very expensive for a nice bonsai tree

Hi

Just got back from Don Valley, I only bought one tree this year as they are sooooo expensive now :(

I have noticed that each year I come home with less trees, next year I probably won't come back with any

Cheers, John :)

Hi

My website sell bonsai trees. I'm based in Rotherham so If anyone in the sheffield area wants one I can deliver them myself. Please have a look on the website if you are interested. We are opening a shop in April in Sheffield too

It's useful to get good advice when buying - ask the seller what species of tree it is, when it was last repotted and how to care for it. If they can't answer the questions I'd be wary.
