StopnSmile   10 #1 Posted November 3, 2008 This is jsut for a little bit of information. I am trying to persude my employer to "let" 3 or 4 of the spaces in our car park. It is jsut off Eccy road 2 mins from the Robert Winston Uni building. He asked me to find out if there would be any interest as he doesn't think that there would be. So - would there be interest in a parking place in that area that you knew was yours everyday?? If so, roughly how much does anyone think would be an acceptable charge on a monthly basis lets say? All advice welcome
 Share this content via...
mrchinnery   10 #2 Posted November 3, 2008 If your boss does not think there will be any interest then you rent them off him and sub-let them. I am sure you will get lots of interest with a price of £30 per month each
 Share this content via...
StopnSmile   10 #3 Posted November 3, 2008 Hmm, thanks - now that is a thought! Do you think that people would pay £30 a month for a parking space? Is that an average price? I guess thats only £1 a day isn't it for all day parking - not bad at all I guess
 Share this content via...
CHAIRBOY   10 #4 Posted November 3, 2008 http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=405704&highlight=space+wanted  This would indicate there is a demand.
 Share this content via...
sheffield_LD   10 #5 Posted November 3, 2008 People can park for 80p for 4 hours, so say £1.60 for 8 hours on Ecclesall Road. I would suggest £20-£25 a month. I am a student up at Collegiate and i would be interested myself. As would many others who go to uni there.
 Share this content via...
Miss_S_83   10 #6 Posted November 3, 2008 Yep there would be huge interest I reckon. I am a student up there and (although I am still learning to drive) I would deffo like something like this for no more than £30 a month I would say. smsm   10 #7 Posted November 3, 2008 I would be extremely interested in this. Please bear me in mind if he does do this as I'd definitely rent a space around that area. PM me if you want my contact details for your employer.
 Share this content via...
