Four weddings and a funeral has been my worst film for years, but it has now been overtaken by the horrible The Reader.'

 

I came out after the first hour. Be warned if you are planning to see this film, the first hour is like watching a low budget, badly acted and badly directed porn film. I have never liked sex scenes in films as they are always pointless and one wonders at the motives of the directors.

Agreed, and add the Matrix trilogy to that. Most overrated trilogy of crap erver made IMO.

Lord Of The Rings - read the book - it's far superior!

I agree about Tarantino (to a point). He has made a couple of decent films and a lot of average ones and the hype is annoying.

Appocalypse Now, Arthur, Fargo was just odd, Raizing Arizona, Pulp Fiction (fun but not cult), Saturday Night Fever, Mama Mia is truly awful. I didn't get 'Lost in Translation' either.

 

I loved Trainspotting. Saw QoS twice with my son. I like Erin and Pretty Woman even though I shouldn't. Love Forrest Gump too.

Some people arn't really sticking with the subject I think more people hated the Matrix sequels than loved them, and of course loads of people won't think chick flicks are great. I'd have said Titanic as well but I'm pretty sure enough people don't like it.

 

I agree with Citizen Kane, the reason is that I wasn't able to watch it when it came out, I'm sure it was great then but all the reasons it was great have now gone through time.

 

I don't like Bond films as a whole but I did like the recent two because Bond's character was different.
