garryn   10 #1 Posted October 29, 2008 I know that if for example you have someone work on your house, you have a responsibility for their work standards as regards H&S.  We've got a company near us, employing a subcontracting firm to carry out work near a public area. The company is saying that they have no responsibility as regards the working practices of the subby firm, in respect to H&S.  Can anyone point me to the relevant legislation to contradict their viewpoint?  Thanks in advance.
