Does anyone know of a charity who needs hand knitters? I'm a prolific knitter with a large supply of yarn but no-one to knit for

Rainrescue are always grateful for cat blankets, about 2 foot square (I usually do a big granny square).

I can deliver them for you if you like.

Why not join us at the Robin Hood sometime? Some people there knit for other charities so I'm sure you'll get some good ideas.

Next meet Tuesday 11th Jan , 7.30 onwards, Robin Hood , Abbeydale Rd, Millhouses.

Just wondering if anyone has any medium sized crochet hooks i could borrow? I need around 10 to use to teach a group of textiles students how to crochet granny squares.

I'll be there on tuesday so please bring them then if you can help.

Thanks

I fancy coming along. I've only been knitting for a couple of weeks (but haven't been able to put it down, I've done a scarf, a hat and baby booties so far from the Knitty Gritty beginners book). I would love the chance to be able to ask advice!!

Will it be obvious who you are or should I wait until 7.35 and then look for the knitting needles and balls of wool? :).

I've not been to the Robin Hood before so not sure how big it is on the inside.
