Unless of corse you crossed him ha ha I also remember seeing him on tv wrestling against chaps like Mick Mcmanus. Is he still around?  Yeah Alan's still around, I see him at the deaf club, from time to time. he was well, the last time I saw him  I was at school (I mentioned before) with his daughter, and my mother was friends with his mother.  PT
 Share this content via...

CHAIRBOY Â Â 10 #126 Posted January 9, 2006 In the mid-60's I used to go to The Penny Farthing which I think was near where Berlin's is. It was the in-place to go on Thursday nights when several local football stars attended. My favourite place was Nether Edge Hall on a Saturday night. the Keith Peters' Band and Match of the Day downstairs in the coffee lounge. Never any bother there and you could walk home without being mugged.
 Share this content via...
Babs3 Â Â 10 #127 Posted January 9, 2006 I met my first husband in the Albert - 1971. Happy days. It was the best pub around at that time - with a brilliant juke box. Â The landlord and landlady from there moved to take over the Nelson (still around that time) - does anyone remember their names??
