There used to be a lovely old Hammond organ in the Navigation Pub which we spent many an enjoyable hour listening to.

I agree with the poster that the old times were much more fun.

Didn't the Navigation pub used to be like a wild west saloon with fights all the time, (not gun fights) Some years ago.

Not when we used to go which was probably late 70's early 80's.

It used to be mainly older folk who like listening to the Organ.

I heard it went downhill later.

To summarise:

"Things should be exactly how I want them to be. People who complain because things aren't exactly how they want them to be, suck."

That basically summarizes public discourse on pretty much everything tbh.

many times i have worked in the pub trade, the neighbours complain  about noise, why buy a house next to a pub? or that chippy smells, but you bought a house nearby, and another problem is a new person takes over a pub,its being doing no trade for years, they get it going and its now noisy, killamarsh 50 years ago was a village everyone new one another ,but i should imagine now thats not the case so much as its so big, back in the day they had a village fete, also a feast visited now called a funfair, all generations came and enjoyed, but as a village expands it loses this, but you will never please everyone in these changing time, they want pubs for food or partys, but not on there doorstep.

I don't understand people moving to areas and then expecting those areas to change to accommodate them.
