SamCot   10 #5 Posted August 25, 2010 I have tried Decathlon, took a long time to get my racquet back, after going into the shop to pick it up at the agreed day it was still sat there unstrung. When I did get it there were no staff around, I picked it up, no security tags on, so anyone else could have just walked out with it. I did pay (obviously) but they never even asked for my name or anything, so technically I could have paid £22 for the racquet!  Today I have picked my racquets up from Graves Tennis Centre, they did them the same day and rang to let me know they were done, really helpful guy in the shop. He even waited for me to get there to pick them up before he shut up the shop! Proper service, above and beyond anything you would get in Decathlon. I don't normally leave feedback for things like this but felt there was such a contrast in service that I should let other people know my experience. Jaap   10 #6 Posted August 26, 2010 Yeah we have had a lot of bad reviews from Decathlon. When they did mine, the racket broke after 5 minutes, I can't prove it but I am sure it was the stringing. It seemed to have happened to more people.  We have a coach in once a month who does restringing cheaply as well so that is a better alternative.
