cptwhite   10 #89 Posted May 22, 2005 A couple of my favs (right click, save as to listen)  The Shins - Saint Simon  This song drifts from section to section, beautiful lyrics, excellent musician ship and melody to die for.   The Get Up Kids - Send Us A Saint  The get up kids final live show is next month. They were one of the founders of the emo scene but for me their last two albums were the best. Finding a more mature tone while still being extremely heartfelt this song never reached their final album, probably because the song wasn't in keeping but it's a truely sweet song and the last new song I will here by them. Almost feels like a goodbye message and definately moved meso it's got to be one of my most beautiful songs!
 Share this content via...

seanyboy   10 #91 Posted June 29, 2005 There are so many songs that I think are beautiful and mean a lot to me, but one I have been listening to a lot lately is;  "Next Lifetime" by Erykah Badu.  If anyones heard this song you'll know how amazing it is. Theres one line in particular for me; "maybe we'll be butterflies....", you'd have to hear the whole song to get the beautiful (some might even say tragic) concept.
