Hi - Davido is back - went last night food as good as ever!

 

Great must give it a try again, but notice they don't take cards now

Yes I've heard also that L'incontro at the junction of Abbeydale Rd and London Rd next to mount pleasant park and even open on mondays with a "credit crunch" cheap menu is really really excellent !!

 

 

We tried the 2 courses for £10 recently (Mondays-thurs) Really good, had garlic mushrooms then pizza, very nice thin base just how i like it.

 

Does anyone know if Portofino do any special offers?

Going back some five years I think Portofinos was partly owned by a lady called Jayne Scholfield and her partner Chris ......dont know his second name....and at this same time they were both involved with the Bradway.....am I om the right track folks.....

Yup, just been, if you liked it before you will like it now and they are taking cards again.

 

Davido there as ever, the place has been done up and great food/good value.

Al Carretto is better, I should know I am Italian. lol

Try the ribs best ever, nicest italian dish I have had in the UK not just Sheffield.

 

Don't mind if the staff aren't over the top in friendiness, I don't go for them I go for the food, I have my own company don't need waiters to entertain me.
