How to un register ?

Just curious , is there a way to un-register from any forum that a person might register on , if so how ,

yes did that 3 year's ago , checked this week and I'm still registered lol, not a problem , I was just wondering if there was a way or not , but it seem's not , I did contact the owner of the forum but they point blank refused to un-register anyone, maybe they just like the forum membership list to look busy to attract more people

If the object is to never go back there, yes, that'd put the tin lid on it; but you'd still be a registered (though banned) user.

 

I think it's because of archiving. If they delete your account altogether, they'd end up with any number of posts that were apparently posted by no-one.

inactive accounts are deleted on a regular but infrequent basis IIRC.

Accounts which have been used for posting are usually not removed unless there's a good reason. The easiest way to leave, as has been suggested by some others, is simply to stop posting. If you are worried that your account could potentially be used by others that use a shared computer or similar then we can suspend your account.
