Paces @ High Green, November 8th- Autumn Fair and car boot 11am-2pm

 

£5 per car or £7 with a trailer or van. No phone number provided though

 

So some confusion now. I'll try to find out!

Thanks Jim - Sorry got a little confused, especially since the first page (The Car Boot Megathread) said 8 am (needs changing somebody!). I've just read the same listing as you in the "Look Local" What's On guide and that's provided by Paces - so that will be the correct one. Ruby

As I don't fancy reading all replies on this thread, I'm just wondering if anyone has givin any feedback on car boot sales that they've attended or car boot sales that they have done? I'm thinking of doing a car boot sale in Barnsley next week Sunday, so any advice will be worthwhile

You'll need to book a place, you can't just turn up.

 

A few tips;

 

Make sure you have a friend/partner to help as you have to unload away from the stall.

 

It does get VERY busy in a compact area so keep your eyes peeled.

 

Never stood there, but had a look around a few times and its really good. Don't know how much you'll expect to make as an average.

 

Its also got electric which is good as you can prove electric goods work, and also able to take some form of electric heater!
