There's no ironians in Sheffield. Only in London. Can't move for them.

:D Sheffy you're funny! I appreciate its not intentional but still.

I love the way you totally make stuff up - its brilliant!!

argue (REASON)

verb [i or T]

to give the reasons for your opinion, idea, belief, etc:

The minister argued for/in favour of/against making cuts in military spending.

[+ that] The minister argued that cuts in military spending were needed.

You can argue the case either way.

Thanks teacher, but PONDS forge gymn really is only 23.99 a month, I hope you enjoy it, and then come back and say how cheaper Sheffield is than london, and superior in terms of Gymn facilities.

There is a lot of patriotism shown to Sheffield and each to everyone opinion. I like Sheffield but the only reason why I live here is simply because of my son living here and going to uni and my mother as she is a widow.

London is another level and I would not hesitate in the least to live there. Yes it has crime levels higher than Sheffield but Sheffield is a very under developed city and for the past 18 years we have had promises that Sheffield is to become this prosperous city and guess what folks. I see alot of empty offices that are brand new and a ghost town until the students get back in a fortnight. Wake up people, for the 4th to 5th largest city in England, Sheffield is more a big village.

You make a lot of sense there I lot of people think Sheffield is a lot better than it actually is but don't compare it properly to other places.

But I don't think Capital Cities should be compared to anything than other Capital cities! I Wouldn't want to live in London not because it doesn't have things to do,opportunaties jobs, etc, but because unless you get a really good job or know people there already it can be a very strange and lonely world to be in. Plus the housing situation there is ridiculous, the day to day hassle would be too hard to get used to, and it must be an awfull place to be if you are poor! I think a lot of people move there now just because they either have to or because they are just easily swayed by others

If I did move to another city I would prefer Manchester or Leeds or Birmingham

I think Birmingham would be my choice out of those 3.

Another Sheffield basher....gymn membership in Sheffield, 23.99 a month for PONDS forge...brand new, and the pools are included, as are many classes.

It's brand new, and we also get to use four around the town.

It's not an argument, it's a debate, and you're losing it with that post.

As for your travel costs, that is your own fault for driving a chavvie 4x4 :)

If it was a polite debate you'd probably stop saying that any negative comment made people 'Sheffield bashers' and you'd not jump to silly conclusions about what people drive.

But it would be rare thread if it were a polite debate.
