My teeth are too sharp - can I file them down a bit?

Some of my teeth are really sharp, when I bite the inside of my mouth it's shredding it and taking ages to recover and it's reet bloody annoying and also painful. Can I file them down? What do dentists do about sharp pointy teeth?

It's one of the joys of getting older. If you're not in pain, they should just file down naturally.

if you file at them you'll be damaging the enamel and heading towards their softer centre

 

if you want them filed, go to the dentist
