Found piece of plastic in sausage...

..... i bought some sausages the other day, cooked some, ate some.... bit into one and found a piece of blue plastic (from what looked like a plastic bag / glove) under the skin of the sausage.

 

It made me feel rather sick and I didn't finish my sandwich.

I've complained to the company involved. we'll see what happens. not sure what a "reasonable" reponse would be.

You should think yourself lucky. Last week I bought a jar of jam, when I got it home I dropped it on the floor and it broke. I am glad I did because in the jam were pieces of broken glass! A lucky escape I think.

You could do what many people do in this situation. Don't complain to the manufacturers or shop where you bought the sausages, but go straight to The Star, preferably with a sob story about how a young child or elderly relative could have choked. If you can provide your own pictures of a snotty nosed kid looking glum and pointing at a sausage, so much the better.
