Recommended Posts

Am confused, on the M1 the signs say J32-35 will be closed on Sun 24th - but apparently Hallam FM have said it will be closed from today  Can anyone clear this up for me please?

Well I heard a radio advert saying that it would be closed from tomorrow.

But most sources say that it'll be from the early hours of Sunday morning, so I would trust them.

Expected to be most sunday. Nobody really prepared to commit to a time.

I am really confused. Is it just me or is midnight 00:00, therefore the start of a new day? I thought midnight Saturday would be early morning on Saturday.

Midnight marks the beginning and ending of each day in civil time throughout the world. It is the dividing point between one day and another. To me if someone said midnight on Saturday I would assume they meant when Saturday becomes Sunday and not when Friday becomes Saturday.

To avoid confusion, the M1 is shut from 11.59pm on Saturday evening until some, as yet unspecified, time on Sunday. :D
