Suffragette1 Â Â 10 #193 Posted August 22, 2008 Indeed - see the posts by Jessica23 and myself on page 5. Â However, if one is confident in oneself sexually and is sexually attracted to the person you're with, why would a woman's vulva be offputting? I seriously would question the depth of sexual attraction. True sexual attraction is almost animalistic and is not about aesthetics, if it were then anyone less that one is culturally considered less than perfect would never have been in a sustained sexual relationship. Â Surely consumers of porn realise that these bodies are not truly representative? The same way that a blow up doll is not realstic nor is a vibrator? Suffragette1 Â Â 10 #194 Posted August 22, 2008 Thanks Shh! for the link, have just watched the programme, how totally depressing. I found it all extremely disturbing. How ironic that women are having their facial lips plumped up and enlarged (and Desmond Morris would argue that our facial lips are supposed to look like vaginal lips and thereby be attractive) yet their labia trimmed. The world has gone completely mad. Â As for the young woman feautured in the programme, well her sister is a complete bitch ridiculing her like that. As for that painter/decorator, I'd cheerfully thump him. Thankfully, the majority of the men on the programme maintained that a woman's labia are part of her and their size and shape do not deter them in anyway. As I posted earlier, if you're really into a woman and sexually attracted to her, the shape and size of her labia matter not a jot. The same way that a blow up doll is not realstic nor is a vibrator?  I'm not so sure Suffy - and even if the lads brought up on a diet of this stuff realise that it's not representative it doesn't stop them aspiring towards bodies that fit the 'ideal' - and who knows subtly or not so subtly pressuring their girlfriends towards conformity. Â I agree it does not stop such lads aspiring to such an indeal, but surely there must come a point when they realise it is just that, an ideal? Or maybe I am crediting them with too much intelligence?
 Share this content via...
