Guest   #3 Posted August 10, 2008 I've bought a few soundtracks though it's usually been because a certain song has stood out: My Best Friend's Wedding for Ani DiFranco's cover of Wishin' and Hopin', and Clueless for the acoustic version of Radiohead's Fake Plastic Trees. Of course now I'd just download the individual tracks.  Others I've bought for the entire soundtrack: Good Morning Vietnam, The Commitments and Dead Poets Society (I think that was the first CD I ever bought!). perplexed   10 #6 Posted August 11, 2008 I don't know about favourite, but does anyone know if the soundtrack to the French language film "Paris" is available? The film is out at the moment, so I don't know if it's a bit early. Tried to google it etc, but as you can imagine, googling something with "Paris" in the title brings up about 20 billion hits!!  Help anyone?  Cheers... EdnaKrabappe   14 #11 Posted August 13, 2008 I like the usual chick flick ones pretty woman, coyote ugly, get over it, mamma mia, phantom of the opera, romeo and juliet...  I can't listen to anything from Pretty woman or Dirty Dancing without being reminded of my next door neighbour in halls. Whenever her and her boyfriend decided to have a "doing", they put on this particular tape made up of songs from these films and also the song 'Wonderful tonight'. It was like the cue to go out! Fivetide   10 #12 Posted August 13, 2008 Oooh... There's a few, but the one I remember best is the Batman Forever soundtrack. The Flaming Lips, U2, Method Man, Nick Cave... all sorts, fairly pop-eclectic, and just a bit left-field coz it's not the sort of film you'd expect to have that sort of soundtrack.
