Everyone knows 1st, But who was last?

Recommended Posts

Strictly speaking, of course - there still are four divisions. If the second division is called The Championship, it's still the second division.

The four divisions of fully-professional English football are no longer all run by the same institution, but there's still four of them.

Most unlike you to be pedantic, Heyesey. ;)

Thanks for clarifying it anyway. :)

I still can't find the answer but leading goalscorer in 1991/92 was Ian Wright.

Can't find fixture list for that season yet.

As Arsenal no longer play in, or have Woolwich in their name, I'm counting them. QPR, Port Vale, Aston Villa and Everton are all named after areas, though Port Vale now no longer exists.

These are the results for the final day of the 1991/2 season in Division 1.

Soz I meant about my earlier post when I said Wrighty was top goal scorer that season. You have to read all the pages to get the full story. ;) Thanks for solving the riddle by the way.
