Suffragette1   10 #49 Posted July 29, 2008 Any of the female age defying creams adverts. Once the gullible have been out and discovered one lot doesnt work and sales die down, they bring out the new one containing something new and technical like derma pepto fruit acid which is just their trademarked name for what could be dog poo. These companies thrive on the vain and thick. They must have a laugh thinking up the adverts  I'm sure these pentapeptides, or whatever the hell they are, are just made up names.  The ones that really annoy me are those they bring out just before Mother's Day.  AAARRRGGGGHHHHH If my kid gave me bottle of age defying skin scream for Mother's Day, I'd be a bit put out. Everytime I hear it it just makes me laugh.  It's all utter Boswelox.
 Share this content via...
arachnophobe   10 #51 Posted July 30, 2008 The Huggies nappies "big kid at sundown" advert. God it's crap.
 Share this content via...
fred_notdead   10 #52 Posted July 30, 2008 I also hate ALL ads'.  If each commercial break lasts for three minutes that's about 12 minutes every hour you watch Tv.  For an average 5 hours worth of TV each night, that's a full hour wasted. 7 hours per week, 4 weeks per month etc etc. that's a heck of a lot of product drivel and commercialised brain washing.  . razzamatazz   10 #59 Posted July 31, 2008 i hate the no win no fee, 'had an accident that wasn't your fault?' adverts accidents are accidents and whilst i know there are some very genuine and needy claimants it really anoys me how some people try to get money unscrupulously. someone i know has had a few thousand pounds for piddly things, tripped on a curb and injured his knee ( no genuine lasting damage, didn't disable or stop him from working) and a shoulder injury, happened at work when carrying something that he shouldn't have been and was advised not to, , and yet some how still got a payout. it no wonder insurance policy costs get so high.
