The old Toll Gate, I remember the present Gate being built behind the old Gate, this remained open until the new was built then was demolished.

Would the 'Sportsman' count, it's not too far away, just down the main rd, on the left hand side going towards Firvale.

The Gardeners and the Crown(now offices) at the bottom of Rutland Rd

The Malton, the Sawmakers, the Wheatsheaf, the Stag,Brown Cow, I think there was one called Bridgehouses where the garage was opposite the Brow Cow(now Riverside)

Marshall Tavern (Bacon Box), Pitsmoor Rd

Fitzalan Tavern, Fitzalan St.

Sportsman Inn, Marcus Street,

New Inn, Montfort St.

Albion, Verdon Street

Merry Heart,

Cromwell View, top Spital St

Remember the Wheatsheaf in the 60s I used to do the egg and spoon race there in the Spring bank holidays and the horses in the stables.

I have some footage of the landlady and landlord of the time to on video.

Here you go kidorry, it's the Marshall TAVERN.

The Bridgefield, top of Fowler Street, the Woodman, opposite the bottom of Woodfold, the Fowler Street Hotel, corner of Hayward Road and Fowler Street, Fox and Duck, Pitsmoor Road. I guess the first three have gone to the great boozer heaven in the sky.

hi the pubs i remember at pits moor are robin hood, staff, Albion ,east house,

Are these really in Pitsmoor though.?..Think more Burngreave Ellesmere area than Pitsmoor.!
