steelhead31 Â Â 10 #2 Posted July 22, 2008 If its a uk based mobile you are trying to call, usually dialing the regular number, or replacing the leading 0 with +44 should do it.
 Share this content via...

Now this has always confused me a bit.  Don't the international dialing codes still apply if you are calling from the UK to France seeing as you will be calling a French exchange network?  Whilst in Germany a few weeks ago I noticed my network provider change from Talk Mobile (In UK) to Vodaphone(In Germany).
 Share this content via...
Kingmaker2 Â Â 10 #5 Posted July 22, 2008 His is a French based mobile & mine is English. Â Not totally certain but I think you drop the first 0 of his/her number then add 33.
 Share this content via...

OrganiseChaos   10 #8 Posted July 22, 2008 just a thought Kidorry but have you checked on Money Saving Expert to see how you can get the call really cheaply? They have an article on cheap international calls and a call checker where you put in some of your details - which country, mobile or landline etc and it gives you the cheapest provider.  link is here: cheap overseas calls its free. Bacon   10 #9 Posted July 23, 2008 If you're ringing a mobile in France, you're supposed to just put in the original mobile number and it should get to him (after all, you may not have known he was there).. If he has a pay as you go phone, he may have to let his mobile operator know he's there so they can set roaming to on at their end.  Most operators do this automatically when the phone locks onto a network though.. Â Why would he need to let his mobile operator know he's there?...... It's a French based mobile!
 Share this content via...
