MeMyself&I   10 #13 Posted December 14, 2009 We went on our works do last Friday - might have been nice food when it opened, but given that our £25, three course meal turned out to be a 3 course snack, I don't really feel I can comment on the quality of the food.  (well apart from the woman who had the veg stew said it was veg in water, and one of the fellas who had the partridge couldn't comment on the taste of that as he couldn't get it off the bone).  Most of us liked the starter, they were small but starters usually.  For the main course they expected about 11 of us to be happy with enough veg for 8 people (delivered in two bowls and plonked on the table).  The was even better, roulade about as thick as my little finger (I have small hands), plum pudding that was flavourless stodge (but a very small portion).  Never setting foot in that overpriced dive ever again Share this post Link to post Share on other sites Share this content via...
