Darkness   10 #1 Posted August 10, 2003 Hello again!  I've been offered a property in Healy Green, is this a nice area? I'm hoping there's a school nearby.  Any thoughts?
 Share this content via...
DaBouncer   13 #2 Posted August 10, 2003 Any area is what you make of it. Healey Green is a council estate and as such is pretty much like most. It has nice places and not so nice places. There are local schools, depending on location within Healey Green. You'd really need to have a look around to see if you'd like it.  If it helps, I wouldn't live there. Thats just me tho! upholder   10 #7 Posted August 10, 2003 I grew up on Thoresby Road:D It's a cul de sac so there is no through traffic. There are relatively new houses at the top and the rest are 1900's terraced. It's close enough to the shops, park and the Supertram. Plenty of pubs in Hillsborough too, Legends, Deep End, Masons Etc The football ground is about 15 mins walk away so it shouldn't bother anyone too much on a match day. It is a nice area too. You are about 10 minutes walk away from the Rivelin and Loxely valleys' as well.  Hope this helps.  The school is about 2 minutes walk away on Morely Street. Good en, en all
 Share this content via...
