My bloke found couple and we started messing around with them while he was on his way to work and I was out shopping - we were just trying to see what range they would go up to and needless to say we started being a bit silly and rude.

 

Anyway - next minute some bloke came on saying 'Have you got a license to operate a CB?' and got all huffy and anoraky!

thanks for the post but i wonder is anyone still on cb,s now as i go to collect one later tonight is there people to talk to anymore or will i be on my own .i think people should get one again besides phone bills would be alot cheaper lol:D

I went on the cb a few months ago after 8ys not been on it,And i was still surpise how many was still on.I rember as well eddie fisherman. i belive he helped truckers with that woman (can not remeber name but i know she still there).I remeber and so will eddie as he use to talk to him the late super smirth derick and every one use to get his mad at some point but he was a good old sole..ho memories.

it was me that sold him the cortina mk5. it was a light green with brown interior:gag:

by the way i was duracell and no, i havn't got ginger hair.

me and my cousin used to share a hand held when he bought it and he was called eveready.

used to talk to joe(pirate) from pitsmore, norman(brass rod) from shirecliffe, paula(primrose) dawn(little purdy) jay (executioner).

I remember going to the meetings at Handsworth Asda Site years ago. Have still got 2 or 3 rigs in the outhouse but no aerials the mobile was mounted through car roof and silver rod was left at old house when i moved.

 

I think i might get myself a mag mount and power it up and have a see whos on.

That is a blast from past.I too know ronny and met shane and craig and nige and aslo they mate paul (can not remeber cb name) befor.. As for mick see him very regular as he dates one of my family friends.. I also know square pusher (close mate of mine still see)- dragstar kev and his mate john panasonic -star lady- mint sauce baz - ice man john and joann angel warrior - pussy cat tracy - kitkat nicola and kevin kangaroo man- the list go on and on i rember they real names but not the handle and still see most of them now and most are good mates still.
