1930's loft conversion

I am looking to have a loft conversion done on my 1930's semi. Has anyone found a company they were happy with?, if so can you let me know who?. I am waiting for two quotes at the moment, although one mentioned £28k for a massive dormer that would run the length of the roof and make it a huge room with en-suite bathroom but I don't think it would look very attractive on the outside and it's far too expensive, so i want a smaller dormer on the back (and i'd still want an en-suite) which would be more in keeping with the rest of the house and houses on the road, but I'd want to pay alot less for this. If anyone has got any pictures of theirs who have had a similiar conversion done then I'd be interested to see them along with measurements of room space etc.
