They are saying the BNP have took a couple in rotherham. Maybe they will get a few in sheffield if the polls are anything to go by.

Liverpool = Lib Dem LOSE to No Overall Control

Pendle = Lib Dem LOSE to No Overall Control

 

It was close. They lost one of their 3 majority seats.

 

They've definitely got two but news was coming in over a third, which I think was confirmed before they moved on....think it was the leader of the council's seat too.

I'm beginning to wonder! Aahh... nothern results coming in....

 

Oldham = Lib Dem GAIN from Labour

new Durham Unitary authority = No Overall Control (Labour largest party)

There is no Respect party candidate standing in the local elections in Sheffield this year. There is though a candidate for The Left Party standing in one ward (who previously stood for Respect last year).

 

Red Robbo, I lived in Bethnal Green for ages. Do you actually understand their policies? They are wicked and divisive people.

The Respect Party do not, in my opinion, have any policies. The Respect Party is merely, in my opinion again, a mechanism by which 'Gorgeous' George Galloway can remain an MP.

The BNP have taken Rotherham's mayor out plus another seat. They also finished second in several Barnsley wards, according to the Yorkshire Post.
