northampton town. went in division 4 mike trusson scored twice in last few minutes to give us a 2-1 win. also went day of the sty disaster players came over to us at final whistle after another 2-1 win and the stadium announcer informed us there had been deaths at the semi final. players and fans just trudged away heads down. did'nt realise till we got in the penny black the scale of it all.

Pedantic, I know, but it was Division 3, and Thompson and Deano scored. The Division 4 match you mention was 7 years earlier.

done 117 grounds with the blades mate. done all those you've mentioned plus

the den

plough lane

the dell

vetch field

goldstone ground

county ground

maine road

elm park

ayrsome park

that makes 24 grounds i've seen united on that no longer exist.

Love Street in Paisley......?!;)

Been to Coventry's new and old grounds,

Been to Manchester City's new and old grounds.

Been to old and new Leicester ground,

Been to Darlington's old ground, but not been to their new one.

Been to old Wembley, but not the new one (yet)

Been to the old Hockey Stadium in Milton Keynes where MK Dons first played when they moved from Wimbledon. Not been to the new stadium.

Been up and down the country following the Blades, as far North as Darlington, Sunderland etc, and as far south as Brighton and "what a hole" Albion, and Portsmouth.
