shoeshine   10 #4 Posted April 14, 2008 Have run Windows Defender and nothing found.  I've had nearly the same symptoms tonight after downloading the latest Microsoft download....advertised as "important".  My IE7 will no longer work.......I'm using Firefox to post this reply.  Message "Internet Explorer has to close....download the latest version of Flash Player from Adobe".....I've got the bloody latest version of that on here.... Weird!  I'm thinking I may have to "flatten" this computer tomorrow back to factory condition and start from scratch. I've saved my importany files/pictures etc to disc this evening.
