I would recommend Petalis on Oakbrook road, She has just open but was freelance before. She recently dropped off a bouquet at the shop and its gorgeous.

I drive past there just to look at her displays!, they are lovely.

Shouldn't this thread be closed, as per the others, as there is a wedding services offered thread.

It seems to me that people are 'offering' their services on this one, or at least recommending. Not that this is a bad thing, but other threads have been closed for the same.

Edit to add, perhaps a sticky for wedding flowers would be good

Would definitely recommend Sarah from http://www.flowersforlaura.com has produced us some stunning flowers for all sorts of different occassions and what is nice is 10% goes to charity PACT which is for children with cancer at the Children's Hospital.

IIRC the cheapest way to do flowers for a wedding is to get yourself down to the wholesale markets off the parkway

Hi,

I was thinking about having silk flowers for my wedding bouquet rather than real ones and wondered if anyone else had done this and if so who they had used?

thanks!:help:
