broncolives   10 #25 Posted April 10, 2011 yea remember big bri great chap used to come to watch us play footie sunday morns . he also ran a good football team from burnaby st.  I played for Burnaby for about 4 years along with some very good players. At one point Sam Ellis and Jack Witham (SWFC) took our training. I still have some of the trophies we were given for winning leagues etc. Loved it. Bilge   34 #29 Posted June 6, 2017 Here is a map showing the location.  Thanks H! I can picture where it was now, there's a small plot of newish (1980s/90s?) houses in between the old ones near the top.  I'll keep looking for a pic. broncolives   10 #33 Posted November 28, 2020 (edited) The guy with the limp was called Burkinshaw and he helped to form the football team and I think was the manager in the early days around 1967/8 Edited November 28, 2020 by broncolives spelling mistake
 Share this content via...
