neoteric   10 #37 Posted June 3, 2008 Some more things to see Albert, according to my research there should be a moon rise at approx 11:30pm on the 21st - not quite a full moon but only 3 days after so should be quite big; so lets hope for some clear skies both evening and morning....  See the following details  Sunrise/Sunset and associated twilight times for S33 8WE on Sunday 22 June 2008  Civil twilight begins: 03:46 Sunrise: 04:36 Sunset: 21:41 Civil twilight ends: 22:31  All times in BST
 Share this content via...
Albert T Smith   10 #38 Posted June 4, 2008 If its going to be clear, I'll try to be with you at the top of Mam Tor. I may catch the latest train out to Edale and walk up via Hollis Cross to the top. or get a early morning lift to the Gap.  I'm thinking of have a dawn morning at the top of Totley Moor on the Friday also. Hopefully to see the Deer on Blackamoor in the early morning. All depends on the weather so keep our fingers crossed.
 Share this content via...

Albert T Smith   10 #45 Posted June 7, 2008 Dawn broke at 03.30 hrs this morning, Next week it will be 03.00.  So you may as well save the camping fees and catch the last bus to Castleton or Train to Hope or Edale and walk up to the top of Mam Tor staying up the night.  Anyone getting to the top after dawn breaks will feel hard done bye!!!! They'll have to wait another year!!
 Share this content via...
