Dude111 Posted April 7, 2008 Posted April 7, 2008 Heiss - A CARELESS mistake by Microsoft programmers has revealed that special access codes prepared by the US National Security Agency have been secretly built into Windows. The NSA access system is built into every version of the Windows operating system now in use, except early releases of Windows 95 (and its predecessors). The discovery comes close on the heels of the revelations earlier this year that another US software giant, Lotus, had built an NSA "help information" trapdoor into its Notes system, and that security functions on other software systems had been deliberately crippled. KJ_VENOM Posted April 7, 2008 Posted April 7, 2008 Are you this paranoid all the time? 9/11 conspiricy thread, this one. Might be time to see someone dude someone who maybe able to help you
Scutts Posted April 7, 2008 Posted April 7, 2008 Watch out for the "Queen killed Diana thread" followed by the "Americans never landed on the moon thread", etc......
adaline Posted April 7, 2008 Posted April 7, 2008 I dont think NSA (or anyone else) needed help getting into windows prior to the hd encryption in vista. From what iv seen the enforcement use same techniques as those pesky hackers that steal all your money and pound you with spam.
Ghozer Posted April 7, 2008 Posted April 7, 2008 the NSA keys have been in there for years, and its not limited to windows, they are nothing to do with spying, or american CIA, or whatever.. its simply used for XML processing, wireless key encryption etc... if you think about a wifi adaptor, a lot of them have a red "NSA" sticker on them, its the same thing. there's any number of things this can be used for... Another example (off the top of my head) the game, Hellgate London - this has a DLL which is the actual game DLL, (a sort of 'bridge' which links the different parts of the game, the exe, audio decoder, file decompressor etc) - this has an XMLKEY and NSAKEY in there also...
