Ds lite problem

my Ds lites screen went white but I could still play advance games for a while for about a day now it just won't come on I read on internet it could be motherboard but i'm not sure can't really afford to get it repaired unless it's pretty cheap to do so. I could maybe fix it myself if I knew if it was a articular part or something please help thanks:(

Hi mate, My LG chocolate went white screen as you descried. It turns out it was the ribbon cable that links one half to the other. Once replace the screen worked. It maybe same issue and same solution at a guess.

are you using an adaptor of any kind?

I only used the adaptor you get with it and that about the lg phone my girlfriends sony ericsson Z520i did the same white screen of death. Shop said same about the ribbon but it started working alright again and has'nt done it again since could have been a firmware problem or something weird anyway
