Lotti Posted April 6, 2008 Posted April 6, 2008 Sorry for all the questions but... Is he snipped? What do you feed him? What is his daily routine? Where does he sleep? What sort of bed does he have? Is he crate trained? Most importantly, what do you do when he does it?

Gemima Posted April 6, 2008 Posted April 6, 2008 Basil my male dog was snipped 10 years ago and has refrained from humping now for some time, however he does hump his bed, he has never been a chewer and is a perfect dog in most ways, but he has always been a bed humper. He always does this after he has been fed. We have never understood why and have never been bothered about it tbh, as he does no harm as nothing is excreted. double Also does he do this as soon as you go to bed or during the early hours?
vikki Posted April 6, 2008 Posted April 6, 2008 my girl staffy X has always done this she trys to make her bed as comfortable as possible by stcratching and digging it around she is 7 now and still does this but we helped the poor beds by telling her 'enough' when she did it now we only kill the occasional bed when we go out or she is goes to sleep (she sleeps in the kithcen) but generally they are lasting longer now.
