Is the Viz comic overpriced at £2.50 - do you still buy it?

I used to get Viz regularly when I was a student, i think i have some of the early editions (sadly not The first ones).

 

I started getting a bit cheesed off when the cover price went over a quid & eventually stopped getting it.

 

I've just been scouting aroung Google for images of Viz characters & I see the cover price is now a staggering £2.50!

 

 

So for those who still buy it - is it worth it?

Yes, I still get it and it's as good as ever. 2.50 is not cheap, but I think it's still worth it.

The letters page and profanisaurus alone are worth the £2.50 in my book. £2.50 every two weeks could hardly be called staggering. I never miss it.

I don't buy the mag anymore but the Rogers Profanisaurus book is a bargain for it's price.

There's hardly 2 weeks worth of reading material though. A couple of hours worth at best.

And another thing that finally ended my relationship with the comic was the increased amount of advertising taking up good drivvel space
