office Posted April 4, 2008 Posted April 4, 2008 I have taken some video using my Kodak Digital Camera. The files I have downloaded from the camera are now Quicktime movie files. I would like to know how to convert them to a format, to burn onto a dvd disc to view on a standard dvd player.
steev Posted April 4, 2008 Posted April 4, 2008 RAD Video Tools is about the only free one I can find, the rest seem to have demo versions which'll probably cripple functionality in some way unless you buy.
Lisa*Marie* Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 What burning software u using cos i would have thought all the major ones would have conversion software built in these days ?
kenthack Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 try this site http://media-convert.com/ it converts it for you and then you just download it when youve finished think its safe but if your worried about anyone else seeing the vidios go for the seperate software
Brinny Posted April 6, 2008 Posted April 6, 2008 I have taken some video using my Kodak Digital Camera. The files I have downloaded from the camera are now Quicktime movie files. I would like to know how to convert them to a format, to burn onto a dvd disc to view on a standard dvd player. I haven't had enough posts to put in a link, there is an open source package available called DVD Flick if you Google it. There is also a video on Youtube showing how to convert. Just search "convert mov to dvd" at Youtube. Looks like this will do the job for you although I haven't tried it. Ta
