Birth-Peace Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 I have heard some people say that they put on as much as four stone during pregnancy. How much did you put on and how long did it take you to lose it? The one good thing about my morning sickness is that even at 33 weeks I weigh alot less than I did at the start of my pregnancy
gina2007 Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 4 stone.. i wish.. i put on 5 stone and ive lost 2 stone (Hes 9 weeks..!)
Salster! Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 Around 3 stone with each and then I put on another 5/6 stone after. (Due to other stuff like food etc) Still losing it.
jaime Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 I put on three stone, took me 8 months to lose it and then found out I was pregnant again!!!! I am now 28 weeks pregnant with number 2 and have put a stone on so far but it has started to go on quick now!
zweena Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 Just under 2 stone, I lost to start with due to a complete lack of appetite, apart from fruit and veg in large quantities.
monstermummy Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 Don't know and don't care Seriously, I did not care, I ate when I felt like it and what I felt like and it was great. The great thing about bf and Sheffield is: it makes you lose weight really quickly
savbaby Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 with mini sav i put on 1 and half stones during the pregnancy however when i gave birth weighed myself few days later and was 7lb lighter than before i was pregnant so i lost half stone :D with this on i have put on 5lb so far and i am 23 weeks gone
honeyb35 Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 i dont know as i never weighed myself, however my bumps were MASSIVE! mind you, apart from my first one where I went from a size 12 to a size 18 after i gave birth, the other 2 i've gone straight back into my pre preggy clothes, albeit a bit saggier and more stretchmarky lol
cosywolf Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 It seems an odd time in your life to be obsessing about weight, to be honest. Surely eating healthily for the most part, and getting some exercise, is the important thing. I can't be faffed with staring at scales every morning and fretting about what I've gained or lost.
faloola Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 i put on four stone but that was because i was greedy! i thought as soon as i give birth i will lose the extra weight i put on eating rubbish. he is three in may and i am a stone over what i was before i had him. i lost motivation afer losing three stone due to my baby jelly belly. i know that no matter how much weight i lose it will always be wrinkly etc so there is no point in making it look worse. i am getting married next year so i have my motivation to lose it now. but please don't worry about your weight. aslong as you are both happy and healthy then nothing else matters. my partner loves my belly even though i hate it but its because he says it reminds him of everything i went through and that i carried his child. bless!
