Aw poor little thing.

I'm in London visiting my 7 week old Nephew this weekend, lovely little man, he's just having a bath as I write.

I know where you're coming from, I have neighbours from the same planet...can't wait to have a party, I'll be hiring the loudest, hardest DJ in the UK :hihi:

As for hope their reading, well two problems with that:

  1. They wont know it's them as you haven't described where you are.
  2. They probably wont care less, that's just the way people are these days :loopy::roll:

I hope they don't disturb the Baby.

Poor little mite wouldn't sleep for ages if they did.

After I had my sons I was sooo tired I could have slept standing up in a corner with a fog horn sounding out :hihi: I wouldn't have wanted my baby disturbed by noisy thoughtless neighbours though. Next time the little one cries, she should hold it up to the joining wall and give them a taste of their own medicine! Especially in the middle of the night :P

Was it the family in the bed next to you nephew?

If so, it just shows how awful it can be to experience the most important day of you life in such as awful place as a hospital. Roll on midwifes being more supportive of homebirths!

Hope it wasn't to upsetting for your family, just keep thinking of the gorgeous little boy and how he'll be oblivious to it all.

Congratulations on the new nephew

My son ended up spending his first night in the special care baby unit because the constant noise on the ward was upsetting him. One new mother had 30 visitors til past 10pm (can't tell you how far past 10 because I fell asleep) - I don't mind the 2 visitors only rule being bent slightly...but 30!!!. We left first thing in the morning.

1 week on baby daughter was in her moses basket next to the wall when contractors from Mears ( the worst comp ever to do decent homes in my oppinion ) decided it was a good idea to drill or chace out for the wireing on the house next door on the opposite wall where she lay asleep.

after trying to calm her down I rang sheffield homes who said it was inconciderate and as next door knew we had a newborn and they would tell the site manager that they had to let us know of any work that would affect us.

unbelevably the very next day they did the exact same thing

what kind of thoughtless idiots this world has
