slickwitch Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 I'm curious because Monsieur Slick is filling ours up with Coronation Street and occasionally deleting my Ugly Betty to make room and therefore his sad little soap-watching days are numbered! I think there's something wrong with a man who can't miss Liz Macdonald's latest anus-mouthed rant against the world. I think we've been as low as 36% (So he doesn't really need to delete anything). I think I'm going to hide the control in the vacuum cleaner. No chance he'll go in there.
ShinyPurple Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 Monsieur Pourpre hyperventilates if we drop below 70% and goes on a deleting frenzy which means that we all lose programmes/films that we wanted to watch. Le Petit Pourpre got so sick of losing his favourites that he now puts 'keep' next to his stuff whereas I stick with the tried and tested threat of pain if anything of mine disappears
medusa Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 Monsieur Gorgon now knows that if he deletes my MotoGP races before I've watched them again there will be pain in this house too! That was actually being tidy rather than making space though.
Zebra Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 Been down to 6%, had a frenzy of recording things for the twins to put on disc so they can watch them in their playroom. Now on 36% with a bit of a backlog of things to watch.
Helly Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 I was on 1% all last week which resulted in both Casualty AND Holby City failing to record :'(
Beakerzoid Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 We managed to get to 2% whilst Mrs beakerzoid was in having our latest child. All darned omnibus editions of soaps!
satman2222 Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 Regularly get the message Instant rewind unavailable do to lack of disc space. I've had my Sky+ box since the product was first launched and it has given good service, but it won't do sky anytime and the new boxes have double the recording space, so I've just managed to scam a new one off Sky for free, but I've still got to pay £60 for the monkey to drop it off and plug it in.

Just been in contact with sky to get upgraded to HD and they want £249 . Been with them for 8 years, all channels bar movies ( sports ect ect ) and they couldnt do me a deal at all. Not impressed.
Rich Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 My Sky Plus is regularly almost completely full, it will be when I get back to the Flat tomorrow, taped loads of bits while I've been away at my Brother's this weekend, and taping WWE Wrestlemania 24 tonight which is a 4 hour show so will take a big chunk of the hard drive.
