I probably will, have done and won money on it every year for about the last 5 years.

 

And they say gambling's a mug's game? :lol:

Nope it's cruel, too many horses die in the race and it should be stopped!

 

Hope Queen of the South win the Scottish Cup though!

No horse ever has "died to satisfy a want of humans" in the Grand National.

 

 

Try actually watching the race sometime. The horses want to run just as much as the jockeys do.

If that was the case then horses would be jumping out of fields all over the country.

Only if they're thoroughbred racehorses still in training. If they don't enjoy the racing, how do you explain that the vast majority of horses who lose their jockeys, still race on?

 

Rough Quest was first past the post three years running in the Grand National. The first two of those, he had no jockey on board for the second half of the race, but carried on anyway because he wanted to win.
