tinkabel Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 My little boy got bought a doll by my sister, its completely dressed in pink and my OH has said no way is he playing with that so it has remained unopened in its bag, they now stock the same doll in blue but my sister can't find the receipt, does anyone know if they will exchange it for me? It's exactly the same as when she bought it, same price etc. I don't want to trek into town if they say no so can anyone help?

When I worked at Woolies over in the North West a few years ago they were pretty good about exchanges without a receipt. I believe it is at the discretion of the store manager in these cases though so I'm sure if you're pleasant about it they'll be happy to exchange for you.

Thanks for replying, would it be worth ringing them first?
gina2007 Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 Mother in law works there, she saidas far as she knows, if its ladybird or chadvalley, they should swap it as only woolies sell those makes but otherwise she isn't sure, so if its one of those, you should be fine!
Belinkabelle Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 I guess so, they might have changed their returns policies in the last few years. Hopefully not though.
tinkabel Posted March 29, 2008 Author Posted March 29, 2008 LOL he's desperate to open the one hes got but OH is adamant no it's still got Woolworths sale sticker on so i guess thats proof its from there, if not daddy will have to buy little man some boy clothes for his girl doll oh and a new buggy for inconvenience of course Thanks to you both, i'll risk it and just go into town anyway and spend OH's money

To be honest thats exactly what it is his buggy for his babies is blue though so the pink would clash so hence the reason for a new one if woolies won't exchange thats my excuse anyway lol!!
