broudie Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 I've been for teppanyaki a few times at WS, and each time I have a menu with shelfish included - and they serve it in this amazing white sauce, which I think consists of Garlic and Honey, and other things... I've asked them what's in it and how to make it and the spoilsports won't tell me. I'm half-decent in the kitchen and would love to have a pop at making it myself... Does anyone out there know what's in it or how to make it?? Please help me - I have a craving!
Paul G Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 It tastes like a real mayonnaise with rice vinegar, garlic oil and probably mirin.
Farmboy Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 I was meant to be going here a couple of weekends ago with my mate but his kids got chickenpox, he couldn't get a babysitter and we had to stay in, eat pizza and watch dvds. Hey ho. Can't take my other half cos she's not fussed about Japanese food so we'll get it sorted again soon I hope. Is Wasabi Sabi any good?
