Saffy Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 If you were invited, would you join the Freemasons? Have you joined? Obviously ladies might feel excluded from this thread. Wrong. My Aunty is a woman mason .. they have a special name for them ...
Alien Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 You do know that there are no women in the Freemasons. He's not in it for the women.....it's the sluty chicken he's after. Wouldn't touch em with a bargepole, Freemasons that is.
Tony Posted April 29, 2010 Author Posted April 29, 2010 Wrong. My Aunty is a woman mason .. they have a special name for them ... I'm certainly no expert but ISTR that they are not officially recognised even though there are as you say a very small number of splinter groups that have exotic names for ladies.
SiSiSi Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 What exactly is a Freemason and what does being one involve?
taxman Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 What exactly is a Freemason and what does being one involve? Building houses, wearing an apron and having a dodgy handshake. According to the bloke who led our ghost walk a couple of nights ago the Sheffield masons based across the road from the central library were into abducting and murdering young girls before eating their organs. Nice.
DaFoot Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 Can't say I know anything really about the masons but I suspect it is the supposed secretiveness of the society that causes the rumours/legends of underhandedness/devil worship/sacrifices etc etc. people like to ridicule what they don't know about. They certainly do do some work in community, at a sports centre I was at recently I noticed the st johns ambulance had something on door declaring it was donated by a local lodge of masons. My stepdad told me once he was a mason for a while but left because too many people trying to take from it all the time. ie "what can the lodge do for me?". That went against what he felt it was about. Keep meaning to ask him about it...
Micky ET Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 I have always wondered how does one actually join the free masons ?? My great great granddad was president of the buffalo's I' ve got all his medals in the loft
LaurelCanyon Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 Wrong. My Aunty is a woman mason .. they have a special name for them ... Is it 'Woman Masons'?
