Should I cancel my Specsavers appointment next week?:suspect:

That depends. Is it better if you don't see the person you're kissing?:hihi:

I actually did this a couple of years ago, and whilst drunk last year, posted a picture of what I looked like on Hot or Not. I also at the same time, put a picture of myself normally, and was amazed that the 'unshaven one' won, as still is winning!

I haven't worked out yet though whether I actually look better unshaven because it suits me, or whether I look better because it actually hides my face! :hihi:

I'm therefore stuck in a beard paradox :o:hihi:

thats interesting, wonder if it works for me?

i think most women don't like big thick scruffy beards, but they don't like my face either, and i can grow quite an impressive scruffy looking beard, really quickly.

i might have to do an experiment ...

Oh, dear, I read the fourth option as "Big and busty" - which certainly conjured up an image.

I really must get round to getting my eyes tested, soon :hihi:

After seeing that pic of Jack Nicholson lumbering out of the waves, big and busty is deffo a phrase that sprang to mind, and he doesn't even have a beard :hihi:

NOOOoooooooooo, Tony ... nooooooo! No BEARD!! :D

Having been married to a beardy who had to shave twice a day to avoid 5 o'clock shadow (which happened to him at about lunchtime) I can tell you from a woman's point of view beards do have their advantages.

Once the hairs are longer than about 3mm they start to get softer and so it becomes less like having your face sanded off if you kiss the beard wearer than when they are clean shaven and there's less velcro effect on fluff, cat hair, tissues and left over dinner too.

It's also true that beards hide imperfections and even out faces that are lacking balance if they're groomed carefully.
