medusa Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 that would be the big & bushy option. a good thick beard can keep your face a bit warmer in winter, protects you from the wind a bit, but it feels so cold after you shave it off. it doesnt seem to be a big hit with the ladies though Not necessarily- the reason I stated that is because I've known a few blokes who have started with the intention to grow a beard and then found when it's started to grow that it's all patchy and looks daft. That in itself would be a deciding factor on whether or not you'd keep it growing out of your face, wouldn't it?

andyloxley Posted March 28, 2008 Posted March 28, 2008 I'm reliably informed that this is the look to go for for aspiring fashionistas in 2008.
*_ash_* Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 There's no option for 'don't shave and see what happens naturally'. I actually did this a couple of years ago, and whilst drunk last year, posted a picture of what I looked like on Hot or Not. I also at the same time, put a picture of myself normally, and was amazed that the 'unshaven one' won, as still is winning! I haven't worked out yet though whether I actually look better unshaven because it suits me, or whether I look better because it actually hides my face! I'm therefore stuck in a beard paradox
HappyHoosier Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 Let them whiskers grow, Tony! A nice little Elizabethan number -- think Joseph Fiennes or Ken Branagh -- is sooooo sexy.
Dozy Posted March 29, 2008 Posted March 29, 2008 Oh, dear, I read the fourth option as "Big and busty" - which certainly conjured up an image. I really must get round to getting my eyes tested, soon
