Where can I get thick bamboo poles?

Bit of a random question, but does anyone know a place in S. Yorks that sells fairly thick (1 to 2 inch diameter) bamboo poles? Garden centres I've been to only sell the thin stuff, and getting it online is pricey for the delivery.
