Frankie Rage   10 #1 Posted March 18, 2008 It was opposite Cockaynes/Redgates and near the old 'Hole in the road' and they did a mean milky coffee and had a great pin ball machine. We wagged it from school and had many happy hours there drinking coffee and racking up replays! This would have been 1968/69 btw. lakerman   16 #2 Posted March 19, 2008 If My memory serves me right, it was on the exact spot where the newspaper kiosk now stands. Next to the pathway into the magistrates court and near the South Yorks Police headquarters. I used to go in every there nearly every friday teatime. It was a nice place where we used to meet and chat with friends and aquaintances. This was the early 1960's. It wouldn't do for the young ones of today though.
